We want your stay in the Hocking Hills to be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Below you'll find answers to some of the most common questions our guests ask about our cabins, amenities, and the surrounding area. Where are you located in the Hocking Hills?
Most of our cabins are located throughout the Hocking Hills State Park area near Old Man’s Cave, Ash Cave, and Cedar Falls. Our Office / Gift Shop is centrally located at 26366 Chapel Ridge Rd, Logan, OH. Open 9am - 5pm, Sunday - Friday Closed Saturdays.
What is provided in my cabin?
Each cabin includes Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, air conditioning and heat, a fire pit, bed linens, bath and kitchen towels, basic pots, pans, and utensils, dishes and flatware, a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker (type varies by cabin). You’ll also find a propane grill with propane, salt and pepper, toilet paper, trash bags, dish liquid, and hand soap. Larger cabins include additional amenities—please refer to each cabin’s description for details.
What should I bring for my stay?
We recommend bringing your own food and beverages, bottled drinking water (treated well water), foil for the grill, a scrub pad for pots and pans, paper towels, coffee or K-cups (depending on the coffee maker in your cabin), personal toiletries, comfortable hiking clothes and shoes, ice, and insect repellent.
How far are the cabins from the State Parks?
Can I have visitors at my cabin?
Each cabin has a maximum occupancy limit based on the septic system and cannot accommodate additional visitors beyond the limit of your particular cabin. Ex: If you are staying in a 4 - person max occupancy cabin, then you can only have 4 people at your cabin at any time.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. About 40% of our cabins are pet-friendly. You may bring up to three pets to a pet-friendly cabin. A list of our pet friendly cabins are listed on our website. The pet fee is $15 plus tax per pet, per night.
How do I check in?
Check-in time is 4:00 PM, and check-out is 11:00 AM. After completing your pre-registration (a link is provided in your confirmation email), you’ll receive an email with your cabin address, keypad or lockbox code, and Wi-Fi password. This allows you to go directly to your cabin upon arrival.
Are any cabins handicap accessible?
Yes. Cabin #41, Enchanted, is fully handicap accessible.
What is the minimum age to rent a cabin?
You must be at least 21 years old to reserve a cabin.
Can I book a cabin for someone else as a gift?
We do not allow third-party bookings. However, you can purchase a gift certificate to give to them so the recipient can make their own reservation.
Is there cell service or a phone in the cabin?
Cell service varies by location, cell service provider, and phone. Some cabins may have limited or no coverage. Please note that none of the cabins have telephones.
Are there restaurants or grocery stores nearby?
Yes. There are several restaurants and convenience stores in the area, primarily in the town of Logan. Each cabin includes an information book with directions and details about local dining, shopping, and attractions.
